Caledon

 

The Independent State of Caledon is the oldest and best known Victorian sim(s) certainly deserve their own entry and background.  A well established presence in Second Life and the premiere Victorian destination in the virtual worlds, the Independent State of Caledon is a must visit destination for anyone interested in Victoriana, Steampunk, or Gothic genres.

Personally speaking, Caledon was my first residence back in 2008, and I've always had a soft spot for the kind residents of the Independent State.  My current intention is to post on each of its parts separately, so more to come once I journey to my original in-world roots!
